I'm excited to be directing my first feature film, Missed Connections, which I also wrote. The story follows Isobel Toussaint, reclusive a Haitian-American artist living with fibromyalgia, who escapes her isolation through art and a fascination with the Missed Connections forum, where people post about fleeting encounters with strangers they hope to reconnect with. When her own chance encounter unexpectedly appears in the forum, Isobel’s world is upended, pulling her out of her imagination and into a life she never thought possible.
